Refund Policy
La Patisserie Varte
At La Patisserie Varte, all of our bakes are freshly made to order. Because of this, we have the following refund policy in place:
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order.
Deposits cover the cost of ingredients, admin, and time spent preparing your order.
If you cancel your order for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
Balance Payments
The remaining balance is due on collection or delivery, payable by cash or contactless (SumUp, Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit/credit card).
Once payment has been received and the order has been collected/delivered, it is considered complete.
Cancellations
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your collection/delivery date, only your deposit will be retained.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before collection/delivery will be charged in full, as baking and preparation will already have begun.
Refunds & Returns
As our products are perishable food items, we cannot accept returns.
Refunds will not be issued once the order has been collected/delivered.
If there is an issue with your order (e.g. incorrect item supplied), please notify us within 24 hours of collection/delivery so we can investigate.
Quality & Responsibility
We take great care to ensure your bakes leave us in perfect condition.
Once collected/delivered, responsibility for the products passes to the customer. We are not liable for damage caused during transport, handling, or storage.
Allergies & Dietary Information
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies at the time of ordering.
While every care is taken, all products are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, and soy. We cannot guarantee products are free from allergens.
